I was sitting around a town near Venice, kinda bored when I decided to hit the road on my next adventure.  Where could I go that no other Lab on earth has gone?  Since Labs are the most popular dog in the world, it was a tough decision. 

Then it came to me!!!

Of course!! Mt. Everest!! 

I'm sure there hadn't been any Labs there before.  So I signed up for an expedition.  They weren't sure of me at first, but once they saw the Woodie, they didn't hesitate to let me go with them.

  Here we are just before we left the base camp.  Nice group of people I was with, I must say.

It was a hard climb.  Sometimes it was freezing cold and I was so happy I had my nice Lab coat underneath all these clothes.  Some of the other climbers ended up with frost bite, but my water/weather proof Lab coat kept me warm.

Here we are near the summit.  Some of the group gave up, deciding it was too hard to go any further.  Not me! 

I fired up the Woodie and got to the summit in that.  There I am in the Woodie as I'm reaching the summit.  The first Lab in history to every climb Mt. Everest.  How about that?

The descent seemed a bit easier than the ascent.  Maybe it was just the thrill of making the summit. 

I'm not sure anything will be as thrilling as this adventure.  This is something I will remember forever, even after the bus catches up with me and mom takes away the keys to the Woodie.
